Charting new courses to old places
- quiet in the forest -
I used the word “quiet” in my earlier post to describe myself, and KS called me on it, and she was right.
I’m not quiet when it comes to my family.
I think, for some things, you don’t have time to do it twice. Some things you get one shot at.
Being a Dad is the most important thing I will ever do, so I want to do it well. I have a lot of fears, and insecurities that trip me up, but for some reason, for my family, I have a “override” setting.
It’s more important for me to get it it right than it is for me to be afraid.
Sometimes it’s more difficult than I know what to do with, but I hope that I always hit that override when it comes down to it.
